Childcare & Pediatric Care near Verrado

How to find licensed childcare through Arizona DHS, plus the pediatric and clinic listing already on this site — no rankings, no invented waitlists.

Finding care for young children is a licensing and capacity question, not a "best of Verrado" list. This page points to official lookups and to the one clinic already in our places directory. We do not rank daycares or pediatricians, and we do not publish current openings.

Licensed childcare: start with the state

Arizona licenses child-care facilities through the Arizona Department of Health Services, Child Care Facilities Licensing. That office is the regulator — not the City of Buckeye and not this site.

Look a provider up before you tour:

  1. AZ Care Check — ADHS's public licensing database. Search by facility name, address, or provider type. Records can include license status, inspection/survey history, complaint investigations, and enforcement actions. ADHS maintains the data; treat it as the official history, then ask the provider about anything you do not understand.
  2. Arizona Child Care Provider Search (DES / CCRR) — the state's Child Care Resource & Referral search. Useful for finding providers by city, ZIP, ages served, and schedule. A listing here is not the same as a current opening.
  3. Confirm on a visit. Ask to see the posted license, ratios, and how they handle heat, pickup, and illness. Hours and tuition change — get them from the provider in writing.

Unlicensed care exists in Arizona under specific rules; ADHS publishes parent information on the childcare licensing site. If a caregiver cannot show a license or explain their status, stop and use the official pages above.

District preschool and school-age care

Litchfield Elementary School District #79 runs preschool and before- and after-school programs through its Community Education department. Current sites, ages, and fees are on the district's Community Education portal — recent listings have included programs at schools in Verrado, but locations move. Confirm this year's sites and eligibility there, not from a Facebook post.

City recreation also offers youth and early-childhood programming that changes by season. Start at Buckeye Parks & Recreation and the city's youth sports pages; they are not a substitute for licensed full-day childcare.

Pediatric and clinic care already in the directory

The only healthcare listing we currently maintain for Verrado is Banner Health Center (Verrado) at Verrado Way and I-10. Banner's official page describes family medicine and pediatric care at that clinic, including well-child exams and immunizations, with on-site lab and imaging. Provider lists, hours, and scheduling live on Banner Health — confirm there before you go. We do not reprint star ratings or imply this is the only option in the West Valley.
